Zee visits the Photo Garden
The cutest visitor ever came by the Photo Garden the other day. A puppy! He romped around in the tall grass a bit. Then he had to get to work. Communicating. Listening to his customers and responding in a timely fashion.
I’m happy he found the Photo Garden to be an enjoyable place from which to participate in the busy forums responding to customers concerns and ideas.
You see the puppy is none other than Zee Linden.
Secondlife needs no so-called “Community Organizers”.
Linden Lab needs more leaders like Zee.
And people need to learn how to represent themselves effectively. Ranting in generally incoherent diatribes anywhere never produces positive results. To see how you are perceived by others when you behave this way then tomorrow when you go to work try standing up in the middle of a public area where you work and begin shouting and insulting the management, suggesting the customers spend their money elsewhere, and encourage your fellow employees to vandalize the establishment and push customers around. Then see how well your communications are received.
My advice is to learn to control your emotions no matter how hard it is and to communicate effectively. You will not always obtain the results you seek. But you have about a 100% better chance this way than incoherent ranting, convincing others to violate the CS/TOS, or attempting to steal customers away.
What will seldom work to your advantage is a so-called “community organizer” who will always choose to represent their personal interests and their buddies interests first. It is a simple matter of how politics work in real life and how politics will work in Secondlife if the massive error is ever made to introduce such activities into Secondlife. No I cannot recommend introduction of politics into Secondlife. Why would anyone want such a job anyway? Think on that a while.
I can hope for more leaders like Zee at Linden Lab though.
