Done with it

I am tired. I am emotionally exhausted.
Yet the tirades from the ad farmer scammer minions screaming about the Homestead regions seems to never end and the maturity level has dropped below worthy of consideration. And the grammar. I have never seen so much wrong word use by English speakers in my life. It is whole, not hole. It is serf not surf. Etc. etc. It would make comedy if it were not so sad and sincere.

Effective communications and negotiations it is not. After a while it becomes an incoherent mumbling noise largely ignored by those making decisions. Poor Milton.

I guess it isn’t about what is right anymore. It is about getting their way like some poor mom’s tyrannical 2 year old in the grocery store. You can always tell a new mom with one. They cave in and shut the brat up with something thus reinforcing bad behavior. Which makes it worse. Thus when you see experienced parents having to deal with the problem they tend to make what is being screamed about most undesirable by making it worse and worse to get what is demanded. If the child is capable of learning (vast majority are) then they figure it out quick and begin to associate ranting tirades with a steadily decreasing benefit. And thus they begin to learn how to communicate and negotiate effectively.

If these people keep at it with the insults and the garbage “from openlife” then I guess we can expect a third offering from the lab that is more fair with tier increases for all land in SL.

It was apparent almost immediately that the most vicious groups had some hidden agenda. Too bad for the suckers that fell in with them and got suspended or banned.

Sure the viewer is a DDOS system courtesy of the windlight team. But there are signs it was there all along and something in the windlight version just gave the defect set steroids. Maybe that was the numbers LL saw. Maybe not. We will never know now. But they need to fix that stuff so the cache will work and the bytes for SL drop to a reasonable level. Won’t stop the price increase.

And those of you screaming incoherently that were using rezzer systems to maintain 6000+ prims on a 3750 prim Island? Please. It is really your fault. Nobody held a gun to your head and made you violate the use policy with such junk that generates lag, using camper bots to falsify your store traffic on a light use sim, having big club events on a light use sim, etc etc. What did you think was going to happen?

Now all those people who adhered to the use policy are screwed. Especially the sailing community.

So I’ll spare any further pain on this topic by simply wishing the Lab would drop the requirement of owning a full island before buying a Homestead island. A lot of us may have to downsize for a while but I hope not. And if you seek the destruction of Secondlife now then do us a favor and finish moving and close your accounts with the Lab. You won’t “kill SL” or even have any effect at all.

And never again will I attempt to make humor from a gaff made by an exec from LL. People took that way too seriously. You simply can’t have any fun anymore.
